Valentines day picnic: My favorite! Grab the picnic basket and fill it will all your sweethearts favorites. I would fill mine up with fruit, cheese,Valentines chocolates and sandwiches. For drinks some homemade ice tea or even a bottle of wine works great. Head over to the dollar, party or department store and buy some Valentine paper plates, cups, utensils and napkins. You can usually find a heart shaped plastic table cloth to put your food on. I also bring a blanket or outdoor fold up chairs to sit on. You can enjoy a special romantic picnic at the park, beach or even in your own back yard. Bring a small CD player and add some romantic music.
Valentines homemade dinner: Plan to make dinner and desert together. I usually always prepare fresh strawberries to dip in whip cream and chocolate for my romantic desert. Add a bottle of champagne for a after dinner celebration. You can pick up a couple of plastic Valentines champagne glasses at department ,party and dollars stores. Set your table with your best china, glasses and silverware. Add some red scented candles and red roses to your table. Have fun experimenting with different recipes in the kitchen. Give each other taste tests. After dinner put on some romantic music and dance. Theirs nothing like a close slow dance to bring out the romance!
