TV Highlights: Amanda Knox movie on Lifetime; BET Honors; 'Outrageous Kid Parties' - Washington Post

The crew on "Antiques Roadshow" (WETA and MPT at 8) continues the trip to Des Moines and look at a collection of pottery from 1950s, along with Shakespeare's First Folio from 1623.

Letting House loose on a school career day is never a good idea, especially when he starts telling graphic medical stories, but two fifth-graders actually provide helpful advice that he uses in his relationship on "House" (Fox at 8).

Ted has a run-in with his girlfriend's ex-husband on "How I Met Your Mother" (CBS at 8), while womanizer Barney is forced to examine his feelings when he realized he actually went on a meaningful first date.

On Presidents' Day, History Channel presents a special letting everyone know that "It's Good to be President"(History at 9). Former leaders are interviewed and the program looks at some of the perks that go with the job.

The BET Honors (BET at 9) were held Jan. 15 in Washington, but the show - hosted by actress Gabrielle Union - airs Monday night, with performances by artists from Trey Songz to Keyshia Cole. The show honors actress Cicely Tyson, actor-singer Jamie Foxx, supermodel Iman, publisher Linda Johnson Rice, musician Herbie Hancock and historian Lonnie Bunch.

If you think you went overboard hiring a clown or two for your kid's birthday, feel better about yourself with "Outrageous Kid Parties" (TLC at 9), a new reality series that shows parents who take their children's birthday festivities to epic levels. The premiere chronicles a princess-themed party for which the parents hire many professional dancers and actors.

Lifetime takes a ripped-from-the-headlines approach to its latest original movie, "Amanda Knox: Murder on Trial in Italy" (Lifetime at 9), which looks at the story that made international news when an American student (Knox, played by "Heroes" actress Hayden Panettiere) was accused by Italian authorities of killing her study-abroad roommate.

Sen. Scott Brown (R-Mass.) sits down for an interview to discuss his new memoir and upcoming reelection campaign on"Hannity" (Fox News at 9).

"President of the World: The Bill Clinton Phenomenon" (MSNBC at 10), a documentary hosted by Chris Matthews, is previewed on Page C1 by Hank Stuever.

On the first of a two-part"Castle" (ABC at 10), Castle and Beckett look into a case involving a New York cab driver and inadvertently stumble into a strange, and dangerous, conspiracy.

Former Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld, actress Cobie Smulders and singer Adele visit"Late Show With David Letterman" (CBS at 11:35).

Actor Forest Whitaker is a guest on "Late Late Show With Craig Ferguson" (CBS at 12:35), along with CNN's Wolf Blitzer.
